A common issue, especially on older blue X4 models, is failure of the locking mechanism inside the body housing..Try pulling on the handle while it’s locked in place.
If it slides out without releasing the locking clip, the body housing is worn and needs replacing.It’s not the clip itself, so don’t waste time looking for just that part.
